The equipment will be distributed among regional water management departments.

Kasymaliev emphasized that the state is strengthening its support for irrigation as one of the key areas of agricultural policy. According to him, 21.4 billion KGS were allocated for the development of water management in 2021–2025, and the equipment fleet was expanded by 270 units during this period.
“Increasing funding for irrigation remains a priority. The state will continue to strengthen the sector’s material and technical base,” the prime minister noted.

At the same time, major infrastructure projects are being implemented. In particular, the “Alga Kadam” project is underway in the Batken region, which will provide irrigation water to 4,200 hectares of land. Full commissioning of the facility is scheduled for 2027.

In addition, by 2026, the government plans to implement drip and sprinkler irrigation systems across 5,270 hectares. In the longer term, by 2030, the authorities intend to expand these systems to cover 200,000 hectares of farmland.
