Avazbek Atakhanov dismissed from his post as Kyrgyz Ambassador to Pakistan

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Zhaparov, has signed a decree dismissing Avazbek Atakhanov from his post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Avazbek Atakhanov had served as Ambassador to Pakistan since his appointment in September 2024.

The reasons for Atakhanov's dismissal have not been disclosed, and it is not yet known who will become the new ambassador.
