Unfinished production volumes decreased in Kyrgyzstan: results of the first quarter of 2025

According to the National Statistical Committee, in January–March 2025, Kyrgyzstan's enterprises reduced their unfinished production volumes.

At the beginning of the year, they amounted to KGS 150.6 billion, and by the end of the reporting period, they had fallen to KGS 146.4 billion. The decrease of KGS 4.2 billion may indicate higher turnover of production processes or the completion of previously started projects.

The finished goods segment also saw a slight decrease in inventories, from KGS 38.9 billion to KGS 38.6 billion. This may be due to both an increase in shipments and sales and a revaluation of warehouse stocks. However, the decrease of KGS 261 million does not appear critical, but indicates a stabilization of inventories in the economy.

As for stocks of auxiliary materials, such as packaging, tools, or other consumables, there was also a slight decrease from KGS 36.5 billion to KGS 36 billion. This may indicate either increased production consumption of these resources or more efficient procurement management.
