A former member of the National Bank’s board has joined the board of ‘Kylim Bank’

There have been changes to the executive body of ‘Kylim Bank’. Ulan Zhamalidinov has been appointed as a new member of the management board.

The bank’s board of directors approved his appointment on 11 August.

Ulan Zhamalidinov holds a master’s degree in Economics and Business. He began his career at the National Bank, where, between 1997 and 2013, he rose through the ranks from specialist to head of the Information Systems Department. From 2013 to 2015, he headed the Payment Systems Department at the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From 2015 to 2019, Zhamalidinov held the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of the Interbank Processing Centre. He then joined the board of the ‘Guarantee Fund’, where he worked until 2022. He subsequently returned to lead the Interbank Processing Centre, and in October 2022 became Head of the National Bank’s Department for Business Automation.

From 29 November 2022, Zhamalidinov served as a member of the Management Board of the National Bank. On 24 October 2025, he was relieved of this post by order of President Sadyr Zhaparov.

‘Kylim Bank’ became Kyrgyzstan’s 25th commercial bank. It received a licence from the National Bank to conduct banking operations on 13 May 2026.
