Since the beginning of the year, personal assistants have been paid more than 527 million KGS

According to the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration, from the beginning of 2025 to May 1, personal assistants for citizens with disabilities received payments totaling 527.2 million KGS. This amount includes insurance and banking expenses.

Today, there are 14,805 assistants working in the country, providing ongoing assistance to 15,125 citizens, including 9,546 children under the age of 18 and 5,579 adults with disabilities of the first group since childhood.

Compared to the same period in 2024, the amount of payments increased by 25%. At that time, 14,411 assistants received support, and the total amount was 421.9 million soms. The number of people in need of assistance also increased, from 14,712 to 15,125.
