09/10/2025, 13:02Chakan HPP Open Joint Stock Company has begun construction of a network of charging stations for electric vehicles as part of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Energy's policy to develop green energy.
The project aims to support environmentally friendly technologies and create modern infrastructure for sustainable transport.
The stations are equipped with modern equipment that ensures a fast and safe charging process. The locations were chosen with the convenience of motorists in mind. The stations will be located along the main Bishkek-Karakol and Bishkek-Osh routes.
The company plans to build 10 stations this year. To test the equipment and demonstrate readiness for network development, the first station has already been installed on the territory of Chakan HPP.
‘The completion of the construction of the network of electric charging stations is an important step towards shaping an environmentally friendly future. We are confident that this will contribute to the growth of the number of electric vehicles and have a positive impact on the environmental situation in the country,’ said Shakir Saidov, CEO of Chakan HPP.
The company intends to continue expanding the network of electric charging stations, creating conditions for the transition to environmentally friendly transport in both cities and regions of Kyrgyzstan.
