Four plots of land for construction in Ala-Too Resort sold for 355 million KGS

Auctions for the sale of land plots have started in Kyrgyzstan as part of the large-scale Ala-Too Resort tourism project. According to reports on 15 July, four plots worth almost 355 million KGS were sold on the first day of trading.

Among the properties sold was a 15,660 square metre plot of land for the construction and operation of a five-star hotel complex. The lot went under the hammer for 337.36 million KGS.

A 458-square-metre plot for the construction and operation of VIP log cottages was sold for 7.86 million KGS. Two plots of land, each measuring 216 square metres, also intended for VIP log cottages, were sold for 4.87 million and 4.78 million KGS, respectively.

The auctions will continue until 18 July, with a total of 49 lots up for sale for the construction of hotel, tourist and related infrastructure, ranging from three- and five-star hotels to ethno-townhouses, restaurants, cafes and spa complexes.

The Ala-Too Resort project in Zhyrgalan is set to become one of the largest tourist clusters in Central Asia.
