Over 4,000 square metres of land to be cleared for the renovation of Muromskaya Street

In Bishkek, as part of the major renovation of Muromskaya Street, municipal land plots occupied by light-weight structures are being cleared. The work is being carried out as part of preparations for the city’s infrastructure ahead of the 6th World Nomad Games.

According to the city council, there are more than 80 structures on the repair site, belonging to over 40 businesses. To carry out the road project, it has become necessary to clear the occupied areas.

To date, around 30 owners have already dismantled their structures and vacated the land plots. Work to clear the remaining area is continuing.
