The growth is primarily due to the revitalisation of casinos and the legalisation of online gambling platforms, according to the Ministry of Finance.
Of the total tax revenue, 326.7 million KGS came from casinos. This accounts for almost 96% of all revenue from this type of activity. Last year, the figure was 197.6 million KGS.
No less remarkable is the surge in online casinos, where tax payments rose from a symbolic 1,500 to 1.23 million KGS. This can be called the beginning of the legalisation of online gaming.
The slot machine and computer simulator segment also grew, reaching 5.49 million KGS.
