Early elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan: 100 polling stations will be opened in 34 countries for compatriots to vote

First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev chaired a meeting of the republican headquarters to assist election commissions in resolving organisational and technical issues in the preparation and conduct of early elections to the Jogorku Kenesh.

During the meeting, reports were heard from the Chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums, Tyntyk Shainazarov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeenbek Kulubaev.

As noted, 100 polling stations will be opened in 34 foreign countries for compatriots to vote in the early elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh.

The relevant state bodies are carrying out the necessary preparatory work to train specialists and test technical equipment in a number of cities. In addition, work is being done to invite and involve international observers.

During the meeting, representatives of local authorities also provided information on the preparation of the election process.

First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev emphasised the importance of ensuring the high-quality organisation of the early parliamentary elections.

«The upcoming elections are an important stage in the democratic development of our country. Currently, hundreds of thousands of our compatriots work and live abroad. Each of them, as citizens of Kyrgyzstan, has the right to vote and contribute to the development of our country. Therefore, ensuring their participation in the elections is the direct responsibility of the state. Our main task is to conduct the elections openly, legally and safely. It is important that every citizen's vote is counted and that the work of each polling station is organised at a high level», — said Daniyar Amangeldiev.

Following the meeting, a number of instructions were given to the relevant state bodies.
