The euro rose, whilst the rouble and tenge fell against the KGS. National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic exchange rates for 16 July

The National Bank has published the official exchange rates for 16 July 2026. The US dollar exchange rate remained virtually unchanged, rising by just 0.0002 KGS to 87.4500 KGS.

The euro rose by 0.2189 KGS (0.22 per cent) to 99.9073 KGS. The Russian rouble fell by 0.0102 KGS (0.90 per cent) to 1.1293 KGS.

The Chinese yuan strengthened by 0.0141 KGS (0.11 per cent) to 12.9156 KGS. The Kazakhstani tenge fell by 0.0004 KGS (0.21 per cent) to 0.1864 KGS.
