According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, the following results were obtained: currants in the first year provided an average yield of 0.5-1 kg per bush. On 1 hectare 4 thousand pieces were planted - under this planting scheme the costs per 1 hectare were 945 thousand soms, the cost of 1 kilogram on average is 200 soms. Income in the first year of planting three-year old seedlings from 1 hectare was 400 thousand soms with yield of 2 tonnes per hectare.
It is noted that currants enter the phase of full fruiting in the 4th-10th year, yield from one bush is up to 4-5 kilograms. Thus, the payback period is two years. Profit after entering full fruiting, provided that all agrotechnical requirements are met, will be about 3.2 million soms per hectare.
Also, 2 thousand 300 seedlings are planted on 1 hectare. From the moment of planting enters into fruiting on the third year, the yield of 0.5-1 kilogram from one bush on the fifth year is 2.5-3 kilograms, on the sixth year enters the phase of full fruiting and provides 10-12 kilograms.
The average cost of 1 kilogram is 200 soms, the cost of planting 1 hectare is 1 million soms, payback - five-six years. Profit after full fruiting, provided that all agro-technical requirements are met, with a yield of 20 tonnes per hectare will be about 4 million soms.
