Farmers are given interest-free loans to improve the quality of dairy products

For complex increase of productivity of dairy sector by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic interest-free and collateral-free loans in the amount of 130 thousand soms are issued.

To receive this loan, borrowers should be organized in groups of solidary responsibility of 4-8 people. (Any amounts outstanding by individual group members should be covered by other group members).

Training will be organized directly in the villages. The objective of this project is to improve dairy cattle productivity and milk quality on beneficiary farms. To provide interest free and collateral free loans to smallholder farmers and milk collectors to purchase cattle, materials and small equipment for the purpose of improving dairy productivity.

Small subsidiary dairy farms/farms in Issyk-Kul, Talas and Naryn oblasts can participate in the project.

To participate in the project it is necessary to have not more than three cows, land plot not more than 5 hectares. As well as the absence of debts on credits, loans and, of course, the farmer's desire to participate in the project.
