11/07/2025, 11:15The State Financial Intelligence Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic has updated its list of countries posing a high risk to the country. Four countries have been removed from the list: Burkina Faso, Mozambique, South Africa, and Nigeria.
This means that when working with companies or clients from these countries, Kyrgyz financial institutions no longer need to apply additional checks and strict control measures. The exclusion from the list indicates that the level of risk in transactions with these countries has decreased.
The Financial Intelligence Service reminded that the list of high-risk countries is used to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as for financial monitoring.
