Prime Minister's Office to Simplify Re-registration Process for Individual Entrepreneurs

At a cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev announced the launch of a new reform as part of the Government Accelerators programme, aimed at simplifying the re-registration process for individual entrepreneurs. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.

He emphasised the importance of this issue for creating a favourable business climate in the country. The chairman noted that the existing bureaucratic procedures for changing a legal address, tax regime, details or types of activity create significant obstacles for entrepreneurs.

‘Today, entrepreneurs are forced to visit tax authorities multiple times, spend hours in queues and collect paper documents, which takes up valuable time and resources, distracting them from developing their businesses,’ Kasymaliyev said.

According to him, the main reason for the existing problems is the lack of a service for submitting applications online through the ‘Taxpayer's Office’ and the manual exchange of data between tax authorities and other government agencies, which reduces the level of satisfaction of entrepreneurs with public services.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers instructed to completely transfer the process of re-registering individual entrepreneurs online and to create a service that allows you to submit an application, attach the necessary documents and complete the procedure in one day, as well as receive notifications through the ‘Taxpayer's Office’.

It is expected that the introduction of this service will save entrepreneurs time, increase the efficiency of government agencies, eliminate the need for personal visits to tax offices, and reduce the time required for the procedure to 5-10 minutes, with completion within one day.

‘The Cabinet of Ministers attaches paramount importance to the development of entrepreneurship. Our goal is to provide comfortable conditions, simplify procedures and improve the quality of public services. The transition to online re-registration of individual entrepreneurs is an important step in this direction,’ emphasised Adylbek Kasymaliyev, instructing that the project be successfully implemented within 100 days.
