03/17/2026, 09:28Almambet Shykmamatov, Chairman of the State Tax Service under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, made a working visit to Batken Province on March 16. During the visit, he visited the service’s regional offices, where he familiarized himself with the working conditions of employees and the current organization of tax administration.
During a meeting with the staff of the regional tax authorities, issues related to improving the efficiency of administration and the quality of service for taxpayers were discussed. The head of the agency also held a separate meeting with representatives of the region’s business community.
Entrepreneurs were introduced to the automated analytical system “Salyk Kuzot,” designed to increase the transparency of tax control and prevent violations of tax legislation. Meeting participants were also informed about the latest changes in tax regulations.
The discussion continued in the form of an open dialogue. Business representatives raised questions related to conducting business activities in the region. Following the discussion, the head of the tax service provided clarifications and outlined possible solutions to the issues raised.
According to Shykmamatov, the government has provided a number of tax incentives and preferences to support economic activity in the Batken region.
During the working visit, a separate meeting was also held with representatives of the region’s coal industry. The parties discussed the current state of the sector and issues of tax administration, as well as the need for joint efforts to resolve existing problems.
