10/25/2024, 08:27The State Tax Service (STS) of the Kyrgyz Republic, jointly with other government agencies, held training events for local self-government (LSG) employees. More than 500 employees from Chui, Issyk-Kul and Naryn provinces attended the programme.
At the seminars, STS specialists focused on tax administration issues, emphasising the importance of tax policy for the development of the regions. Representatives of other government agencies discussed the introduction of modern management standards in LSG, investment attraction, water management, and innovative agricultural practices.
The event's participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive detailed answers on various topics. These training sessions are part of the administrative-territorial reform aimed at improving the qualifications of LSG employees, improving their interaction with the population, and ensuring transparency and accountability in their activities.
The events promote professional skills development and build trust in the government, which creates conditions for stable and effective local community formation. Similar training programmes are planned for other regions of the country in the future.
