Kyrgyzstan's State Holding signed a memorandum of cooperation with China's ABC Bank

On 26 September, a business meeting organised by the Trade Representation of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan in the PRC took place in the Chinese city of Chongqing.

During the event, Eldiyar Doolbekov, Chairman of the Board of the State Financial Holding, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with a branch of the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC Bank). The document aims to develop bilateral financial ties and opens up new prospects for joint projects in the banking sector.

Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov noted that Kyrgyzstan pays special attention to creating a favourable investment climate, emphasising the country's potential in the energy and tourism sectors. Representatives of the Kyrgyz Trade Mission in China presented information on tax regimes and preferences for investors, and also reminded them of the special status of the EU's GSP+ and the US's GSP, which provide benefits for thousands of commodity items.
