The Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic is conducting price monitoring of services in the food service sector, hair salons, taxis, and other areas across the country. The goal is to identify the reasons behind the rising cost of services and to protect consumer interests.
At the same time, the agency reminds that the state regulates prices only for goods and services specified in Article 6 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Pricing.” All other services are subject to free pricing, which is determined by supply, demand, and market competition.
every consumer has the right to freely choose goods or services, receive accurate information about prices and conditions, and benefit from quality service in accordance with competition laws.
