04/21/2026, 14:36The Chui Regional Directorate of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service carried out an unscheduled inspection of the activities of ‘Energia Budushchego’ LLC.
It was established that the company is constructing a small hydroelectric power station (HPP) in the Sary-Kungoy tract of the Kichi-Kemin Aiyl Okmotu, Kemin District, Chui Region.
During the inspection, breaches of environmental legislation were identified, including failure to comply with environmental standards during construction work, which resulted in a negative impact on the environment.
Following the inspection, breaches of environmental requirements were recorded, and the fact of a negative impact on the natural environment was confirmed.
A report was also drawn up and an order issued to rectify the identified violations, setting specific deadlines for compliance.
A claim for 16,353,792 KGS has been filed to compensate for the damage caused.
The materials have been forwarded for consideration in accordance with established procedure. The issue of compliance with environmental requirements during the implementation of such projects is under constant monitoring by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision.
