To achieve this goal, it is planned to create a total of 385 enterprises in the country, including: 40 trade and logistics centres, 45 large processing enterprises, and 300 small and medium-sized enterprises.
The enterprises will include facilities for the storage and processing of agricultural products, meat, milk, fish, wool, leather, vegetables and fruit, as well as other agro-industrial facilities.
The plans cover districts and rural aimaks. The specialisation of agricultural crops by region is taken into account, which will ensure the sustainability of the raw material base when building new enterprises.
As a result, losses of agricultural products will be reduced, additional jobs will be created, and the competitiveness of the agro-industrial complex will increase.
The ministry's actions in this direction will form the basis for economic growth in the regions and will contribute to an increase in the value and share of agricultural product processing.
The measures will be implemented jointly with local authorities and are aimed at strengthening the country's overall agro-industrial potential.
