03/13/2026, 12:06The National Bank has adopted a new resolution allowing commercial banks to export undamaged US cash dollars until 1 October 2026. The decision was published on the official website of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic on 11 March 2026.
The resolution of the National Bank's Board dated 11 March 2026 amends the previous decision dated 14 July 2025. The new version of the document extends the term of the temporary permission for commercial banks to export undamaged US cash dollars outside the country.
According to the resolution, banks will be able to conduct cash currency transactions until 1 October 2026.
A similar permit was already in effect in 2025, when banks were allowed to export US dollars in good condition as part of their operations. The new decree suspends the 2022 restrictions, allowing banks to continue such operations.
