At the current stage, 60% of the work on the construction of access roads has been completed, the construction of the transport tunnel has been fully completed, and 93% of the concrete work has been completed. In addition, 20% of the work on the construction of a bridge across the Naryn River has been completed, 77% of the construction of the 110 kV power line and substation, and 30% of the construction of a shift camp for workers.
The creation of key infrastructure will pave the way for the main stage of construction of the hydropower plant. The Kambar-Ata HPP-1 project is designed to meet growing electricity demand, reduce the country's power deficit, and ensure Kyrgyzstan's long-term energy independence.
