The document was signed by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia.
Mongolia is famous for its cashmere, which is valued for its exceptional softness, warmth, and durability, as well as its environmental friendliness. It keeps you warm in cold weather and comfortable in warm weather, and is also durable and resistant to pilling.
According to data from the National Statistics Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, in 2024, the number of sheep and goats in Kyrgyzstan exceeded 6 million. When it comes to goats, domestic farmers mainly keep wool breeds, so it is possible that the agreement includes the establishment of wool exports from the Kyrgyz Republic, or the exchange of technologies, the development of processing capacities, and joint investment projects, which could give impetus to Kyrgyzstan's light industry and increase the added value in the agricultural sector.
A total of 14 documents were signed during the visit, ranging from an agreement on the issuance and mutual recognition of driving licenses to programs in the fields of science, culture, digital development, and regional cooperation.
