Kyrgyzstan and France discuss labour migration agreement

Kyrgyzstan and France are considering the possibility of concluding an intergovernmental agreement on labour migration. Representatives of the two countries discussed this issue at a meeting in Bishkek.

Mamatkul Baygonchokov, Deputy Minister of Labour of Kyrgyzstan, held talks with Patrick Stefanini, Special Representative of the French Minister of the Interior on immigration issues. The parties exchanged views on labour migration and discussed prospects for expanding cooperation.

Interest in the topic stems from the search for new opportunities for Kyrgyz citizens to find employment abroad and the development of international partnerships in the field of migration.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue working together and to implement the agreements reached.
