    Kyrgyzstan and the World Bank signed a budget support agreement worth $101.5 million

    On July 8, 2025, a signing ceremony for a financing agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the World Bank took place in Bishkek. The document was signed as part of the “First Financing for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth Policy” project.

    The agreement provides for budget support in the amount of $101.5 million. The document was signed by Kyrgyz Finance Minister Almaz Beketayev and World Bank Regional Director for Central Asia Hugh Riddell.

    The head of the Ministry of Finance thanked the World Bank for its consistent support for reforms and infrastructure projects, noting the international partner's contribution to improving living conditions and sustainable development in the country. The parties confirmed their readiness to further deepen cooperation.
