08/13/2025, 15:38Today, a scientific and practical conference entitled «10 Years of the Kyrgyz Republic's Accession to the EAEU» kicked off in Issyk-Kul. It is attended by government representatives, experts and delegations from the union's member states.
Opening the event, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev outlined the strategic priorities for the coming years: Kyrgyzstan's active participation in the formation of a single digital space for the EAEU, the creation of technological alliances and the development of sustainable logistics chains.
«It is important that we not only strengthen our position in the union's market, but also become part of its digital and technological future», — he stressed.
As a basis for his plans, Amangeldiev cited data on the development of the EAEU over the past decade: the countries' combined GDP grew by 17.8% to $2.58 trillion, industry grew by 29%, agriculture by 25/5%, and unemployment fell to 3%.
The conference will continue its work in Issyk-Kul, discussing the prospects for integration in the new economic and technological conditions.
