Kyrgyzstan has no plans to issue Eurobonds in 2026

Kyrgyzstan has no plans to issue Eurobonds in 2026. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev during a meeting with journalists as part of the ‘Open Cabinet’ project.

According to him, the country’s external and internal debt remains stable against the backdrop of economic growth.

“It has been decided that borrowing will only be used for economic projects that generate a return,” said Amangeldiev.

He also noted that Kyrgyzstan no longer takes out loans to support the budget, social spending or the payment of salaries.

“At present, we are not borrowing to support the budget,” the official emphasised.

According to Amangeldiev, the authorities are focusing on domestic bonds and channelling bank resources into the economy, construction and infrastructure projects.
