07/20/2026, 14:04Between January and May 2026, Kyrgyzstan did not export a single gram of silver. This is according to foreign trade data from the National Statistics Committee.
By way of comparison, during the same period in 2025, the country exported 1.23 million grams of silver worth $1.2 million.
The main buyer of Kyrgyz silver last year was India, to which 1.231 million grams of the precious metal were exported, worth $1.195 million. A small consignment was also sent to Uzbekistan — 1,272 grams, worth $1,700.
Consequently, between January and May 2026, silver exports fell by 100 per cent in terms of both physical volume and value.
