09/10/2025, 13:51In 2026, 5.7 million KGS will be allocated for events related to Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. This amount is included in the draft budget for the coming year.
The chairmanship of the organisation will pass to Kyrgyzstan from China in 2025–2026.
It should be recalled that on 31 August 2025, in Tianjin, China, the final document of the summit was the SCO Development Strategy until 2035. It set out the long-term goals and directions of the organisation's work, strengthening its role as a key player in ensuring security, stability and economic cooperation in the region.
