In the third quarter of 2025, total imports to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $2.85 billion. Of this, $1.14 billion came from China and another $587 million from Russia. In total, this amounts to about $1.73 billion, or more than 60% of the country's total imports.

China is a key source of:
Russia is a systemic supplier of:
Other countries play a supplementary role rather than a fundamental one.
Formally, Kyrgyzstan trades with “the whole world.” In reality, however, its import model is extremely concentrated. Diversification, which is often discussed in strategies and programs, appears limited in terms of figures.
