Who in Kyrgyzstan has been exempted from compulsory state insurance?

From 1 February 2026, the amount of payment for the services of personal assistants caring for children and persons with disabilities since childhood  of group I who need constant care and supervision has been revised in Kyrgyzstan. According to the regulatory legal act, the monthly payment will be 8,697.32 KGS.

In addition, from 1 March 2026, personal assistants will be exempt from purchasing compulsory state insurance policies themselves. Insurance will now be arranged on the basis of cooperation between the territorial divisions of the relevant ministry and the tax authorities.

The innovation is aimed at simplifying the procedure for paying for services and reducing the administrative burden on citizens who care for children and persons with disabilities.
