A new head was presented to the staff of the Department of Tourism

On 11 March 2025, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Sanzhar Bolotov presented a new head - Erdenet Jyrgalbekovich Kasymov - to the staff of the Department of Tourism.

Kasymov was born on 21 October 1993 and graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Kyrgyz National University named after J.Balasagyn in 2015. J.Balasagyn, specialising in Accounting, Analysis and Audit. He started his career in 2011 as a coordinator of the Student Council and then completed internships in various government structures, including the State Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market and the Ministry of Finance.

Prior to his appointment as head of the Tourism Department, Kasymov worked as a senior expert at the Centre for Public-Private Partnership under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, where he promoted and implemented PPP projects. With a wealth of experience in public service, he will now develop Kyrgyzstan's tourism industry.
