The company of the former president of the Kyrgyz Republic lost 95% of its assets

Media Forum OJSC recorded a one-time decrease in the value of its assets by more than 10% — in reality, the loss was much greater. The reason was the confiscation of real estate, fixed assets, and intangible assets into state ownership by the ruling of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek on June 3, 2025.

At the time of the ruling, the company's assets at the end of the previous quarter were estimated at 192 million 273.9 thousand KGS. After the confiscation, their value fell to 9 million 283.7 thousand KGS, which is a decrease of 95.17%.

It should be noted that earlier in the media it was reported that the company's property, including the Forum business center in Bishkek, was blocked by bailiffs on September 18, 2025. The son of the former president of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kadyrbek Atambayev, claimed that the building had been raided — some of the tenants had already received eviction notices, and access to the premises was restricted.
