11/07/2025, 12:42The Cabinet of Ministers has amended the State Property Privatisation Programme for 2023–2025, approved by the Jogorku Kenesh. It now includes a new asset, Kumtor Operating Company, which will be transferred to the authorised capital of Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC.
The value of the transferred stake is estimated at 200.1 million KGS. This means that Kyrgyzaltyn will become the owner of Kumtor Operating Company, the entity that manages the country's largest gold deposit.
In addition to Kumtor, another enterprise has been added to the privatisation programme —
the state-owned company Ala-Too Resort, which is subordinate to the Presidential Administration.
At the same time, several old items in the programme have been declared invalid in order to bring the document up to date.
