Kyrgyz apples enter the Fergana market

During a visit to the Fergana region, the Kyrgyz trade mission in Uzbekistan agreed on direct deliveries of apples to local processing businesses. A key outcome of the trip was a meeting with the management of ROF FOOD. The company announced its readiness to purchase apples directly from suppliers in Kyrgyzstan for the production of juices and canned products.

The negotiations were held with the participation of the Fergana Regional Administration of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In addition to the food industry, the parties discussed the overall expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the regions of the two countries. The Fergana region was presented as an open platform for new contracts and long-term relationships.

The Trade Representation notes that Uzbek processors are showing growing interest in Kyrgyz agricultural products. Direct purchases of apples reduce logistics, lower costs and create more sustainable sales channels for Kyrgyz farmers.

The Fergana side has confirmed its readiness to facilitate transactions and provide support in launching new trade projects. For Kyrgyz producers, this means not only the export of raw materials, but also a chance to gain a foothold in one of the most capacious processing markets in the region.
