02/19/2025, 12:18Deputy Minister Sanzhar Bolotov met with representatives of South Korean companies Ecovice and Sunjin at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan.
They discussed the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in December 2024 during the visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov to South Korea. The document deals with the construction of logistics centres, and at the meeting the Korean side presented the progress in developing a master plan for a future smart logistics hub in Kyrgyzstan.
Ecovice and Sunjin companies shared their experience in the development of logistics infrastructure, and also presented implemented projects. In particular, Sunjin participated in the construction of a 500-bed hospital in Tashkent and an IT park in Karachi. In Kyrgyzstan, the company is already building temporary storage warehouses in the northern part of Bishkek and working on a floating solar power plant project together with Chakan HPP.
Sanzhar Bolotov expressed gratitude to the Korean partners for their active participation in the development of the logistics sector of Kyrgyzstan. The parties emphasised the high level of bilateral interaction and expressed readiness for further cooperation.
