Kyrgyzstan triples its state budget in five years

The financial system of Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating sustainable development and strengthening thanks to systematic management of public finances. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic.

In confirmation of its words, the ministry provided data on changes in consolidated budget resources from 2021 to 2025. Thus, its volume grew from 313.1 billion KGS to 1 trillion 101.4 billion KGS, or 3.5 times. This dynamic indicates an expansion of the revenue base and the effectiveness of fiscal and tax policy.

Among the key indicators for 2021–2025, we can highlight state budget revenues, which increased almost 3.2 times, from 209.8 billion KGS to 669.5 billion KGS. This was due to a 3.1-fold increase in tax revenues to 461.7 billion KGS and a 4.2-fold increase in non-tax revenues to 189.4 billion KGS.

The Ministry of Finance notes that the positive dynamics were the result of the introduction of digital tools, improved administration, and systemic reforms in the financial sector.
