05/26/2025, 11:58On May 23, 2025, Deputy Minister Sanzharbek Bolotov and FAO Representative Oleg Guchgeldiev met at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic. They discussed measures to develop small and medium-sized agricultural producers, improve logistics, and expand exports of Kyrgyz products.
Special attention was paid to the sustainable development of rural areas and the promotion of ecotourism as new sources of income.
At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to continue cooperation and coordinate efforts to grow the agricultural sector and the country's economy as a whole.
