Minister Ravshanbek Sabirov identified key tasks of the ministry for this year

Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration Ravshanbek Sabirov held a staff meeting with heads of structural and subordinate departments of the Ministry. The meeting identified the main priorities of work for 2025.

The Minister informed the staff about the new law signed by the head of state, which amends the legislation in the field of combating corruption.

Ravshanbek Sabirov noted that this law toughens punishment and introduces restrictions for those convicted of corruption offences.

«Neither you nor your relatives will be able to work in the civil service if any of you are found to be involved in corruption. We will identify cases of irregularities in the awarding of allowances, social contracts, disability and other social benefits. Regardless of where these violations occur - in the village, district or city — the perpetrators will be punished», —the Minister stressed.

Another important area of work the minister called support for Kyrgyz people at risk due to changes in Russian migration laws that will come into force in 2025. He instructed the representative office of the Ministry of Labour in Russia to develop an action plan.

«In Russia, about 72 thousand Kyrgyz are at risk due to violations of migration laws. It is necessary to provide legal support for them, as well as to create conditions for their return and employment in their home country», — the Minister said.

The Minister paid special attention to addressing the issues raised by migrants at the third People's Kurultai.

«Not a single issue raised at the kurultai should remain unresolved», — the Minister pointed out.

The Minister noted the importance of strengthening the institution of family and instructed the relevant department to carry out targeted work in this direction. As part of this work, it was instructed to involve prominent public figures and historians to ensure that the foundations of the institution of the family were based on historical traditions, as well as the culture of the Kyrgyz people.

It was also mentioned about the organisation of work of district departments in the winter period. He instructed the territorial departments to actively assist citizens who apply through social networks.
