11/25/2024, 12:29The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that 71 thousand 949 Kyrgyz citizens with violations of migration legislation are in the territory of the Russian Federation.
These violations include lack of information on the conclusion of labor or civil law contracts, failure to undergo dactyloscopic registration, medical examination or failure to register for migration. Citizens can check themselves in the preliminary list of violators through a link on the website of the Migration Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The agency reminds that on January 1, 2025, the Federal Law of the Russian Federation will come into force, limiting the stay of foreign citizens without a temporary residence permit (RVP), residence permit (VNZh) or labor/civil law contract to 90 days per calendar year.
This rule will affect those citizens who previously practiced periodic exit and entry into the Russian Federation every three months. On February 5, 2025, Russia will start to have an “expulsion regime” for those who are in the country illegally. Violators will be entered into the Register of Controlled Persons and will face restrictive measures. Failure to comply with the obligations established by Russian law will result in deportation and placement in specialized institutions. The Ministry strongly recommends that Kyrgyz citizens comply with the established requirements to avoid negative consequences.
