At the same time, the attackers' account may contain a genuine photo of the chairman, deputy chairman or other representative of the NBKR management for convincing purposes.
Then, an imaginary law enforcement officer gets in touch, who under various pretexts asks to transfer money.
In this regard, the National Bank warns that these are fraudsters! In no case trust such messages, in case of doubt double-check the information in official sources and do not transfer money to unknown people under any pretext.
‘Remember that the National Bank never asks citizens for their personal data over the phone and does not offer to transfer money to a so-called ‘safe’ account. The National Bank does not open accounts for citizens, does not serve individuals and does not make monetary settlements with the population,’ the NBKR reminded.
