A total of 1,184,000 hectares of land were irrigated.
Of the 106 planned construction projects for BDR and BSR for 2030, 10 have been completed, construction work is underway at 12 sites, and design work is underway at 29 sites. A total of 429.5 kilometres of canals, 302 hydraulic structures, 123 water gauging stations, 91 pumping stations, and 156 pumping units have been repaired and cleaned, 9 pumping units have been replaced, and 53.5 kilometres of collector-drainage systems have been cleaned.
Drip and sprinkler irrigation systems have been installed on a total area of 8,365 hectares, of which 1,702 hectares are on state-owned land and 6,663 hectares are on farmland. Of the 1,155 wells, 30 have been restored, and construction of a concrete facing plant has begun.
In 2025, it is planned to lay 500,000 square metres of concrete-lined canals.
Despite this year's drought, as a result of the above work and the commissioning of new irrigation systems, farmers did not experience any significant water problems during the irrigation season.
