11/27/2025, 17:49The Kyrgyz Geological Service has announced an auction for a license to explore for construction sand in the Karagai-Zhayloo area in the Naryn region. The auction will take place on December 5 in the Naryn regional administration building.
One lot is up for auction — the Karagay-Zhayloo site in the Naryn district. The license gives the right to conduct geological exploration to assess the reserves of construction sand. The starting price is $2,860, and the auction step is $290.
The plot is located on the right slope of the valley of a tributary of the Naryn River. The relief is calm, preliminary data indicate the presence of construction sand, but the site has not been sufficiently studied — new subsoil users will have to carry out a complex of geological exploration work to clarify the volume and quality of raw materials.
The license area is 3,216 hectares. Participants will need to develop a technical project, carry out work in accordance with industrial and environmental requirements, and submit annual reports.
Applications for participation will be accepted until November 28, the participation fee is 10,000 KGS, and the guarantee deposit is $1,000.
