08/25/2026, 17:12The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, in conjunction with the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Issyk-Kul Region, has identified 303 foreign nationals who were in the country illegally. The checks were carried out as part of the ‘Illegal-2026’ operational and preventative measures.
SCNS officers inspected 31 premises where foreign nationals are employed, as well as the documents of 1,015 foreign nationals from neighbouring and more distant foreign countries.
Following the raids, administrative fines totalling 2,701,500 soms were imposed on the identified offenders.
Furthermore, measures are currently being taken to deport eight foreign nationals from the Kyrgyz Republic.
The State Committee for National Security noted that these measures are aimed at ensuring national security, maintaining public order and combating illegal migration.
The agency reminded the public that breaches of the rules on entry, stay and registration, as well as working without the necessary permits, are punishable under the law, up to and including deportation from the country and subsequent entry restrictions.
The State Committee for National Security (GKNB) has called on foreign nationals, employers and host organisations to comply with the requirements of Kyrgyzstan’s immigration legislation.
