    Last week, trading on the KSE was very active

    During the week of 4 to 8 August, the total trading volume on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange (KSE) amounted to KGS 1.507 billion in 45 transactions. The majority of transactions, 99.5%, involved company shares.

    Twenty transactions were registered on the primary market, including a large purchase of shares in Eldik Bank for KGS 1.5 billion. The volume of corporate bond trading amounted to approximately KGS 6.9 million, mainly for the issue of Alfa Oil.

    On the secondary market, 25 transactions were conducted for KGS 770 thousand, including shares of OJSC Airports of Kyrgyzstan, OJSC Mbank, OJSC Kyrgyzstelecom and others. Bonds of Dos-Kredobank OJSC and MFC ABN OJSC were sold for KGS 40 thousand.

    The official listing of the KFB includes securities of 35 companies. All trades during the week were for securities of listed companies.

    At the end of the week, the market capitalisation amounted to 230.16 billion KGS, and the KFB index fell by 1.6 points to 6,605 points.
