666.8 million passengers transported in Kyrgyzstan in 2025

In 2025, 60.7 million tonnes of cargo were transported in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic in its Report on the Transport Sector.

According to the agency, the volume of freight turnover for the reporting period amounted to 3.7 billion tonne-kilometres. The main volume of transport was traditionally accounted for by road transport, which accounted for 99% of all transport.

The passenger sector also showed significant results. Over the 12 months of 2025, 666.8 million passengers were transported in the country. The largest increase in passenger traffic was recorded in the Batken region, at 31%. In the Osh region, the figure increased by 21%, in the Jalal-Abad region by 6%, and in the city of Osh by 6%.
