08/11/2026, 19:42The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan conducted another sale of U.S. dollars on the foreign exchange market yesterday, August 10. The transaction totaled $196.2 million, according to data from the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
Of this amount, $41 million came from the sale of dollars with settlement on the transaction date, while another $155.2 million came from sales with settlement on a date other than the transaction date.
The August operation marked the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan’s tenth foreign exchange intervention since the beginning of 2026, based on published transactions involving the sale of U.S. dollars.
In total, from January through August 10, the National Bank conducted ten interventions, selling $1 billion 668.8 million.
The largest transaction during this period was the intervention on June 29, when the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic sold $222.55 million.
At the same time, the official dollar exchange rate remained unchanged; as of August 11, it stood at 87.45 KGS per $1.
