The regulator notes that, despite external risks and instability in global markets, the Kyrgyz economy is showing high activity. In January–April 2025, real GDP grew by 11.7%, with services, construction, and industry as the main drivers.
Inflation in the country remains moderate: since the beginning of the year, consumer prices have risen by 2.9%, with annual inflation at 7.7%, which is within the National Bank's target range (5–7%).
The domestic currency market also remains stable, with banks increasing lending and their resource base. In this environment, the National Bank continues to pursue a prudent monetary policy, maintaining the rate to support price stability and macroeconomic balance.
The next rate meeting is scheduled for July 28, 2025.
