11/29/2024, 17:34In 2023, there was an increase in gross regional product (GRP) in most regions of the country compared to 2022, the only exception was Issyk-Kul region.
Impressive performance was demonstrated by the city of Osh, where the growth amounted to 16.4%. High growth was also noted in Bishkek - 12.6% and Chui oblast - 12.3%.
The capital city has the largest share among the regions, its contribution amounted to 44.6% of the total GRP. It is followed by Chui Oblast with a share of 13.7% and Jalal-Abad Oblast with 10.8%.
